There are a great many forms of mediation emanating from our spiritual
traditions and it is widely recognised that meditation
helps to:
- calm the mind
- provide relaxation
- provide focus and
meaning in life
- improve general health and even some medical conditions.
Simply put, meditation is being present with an undivided mind. How
meditation is helpful, is that by being present with a still mind, it is
possible to observe the root cause of illness or discomfort.
Biofeedback provides some effective meditation
techniques as does yoga.
