Hypnotherapy is a process of undergoing clinical relaxation to access past memories and traumas
in order to bring them to light and find resolution. This has been found effective in treating
behavioural problems and addictions.
Some people see a potential risk in that under hypnosis, a subject or patient may be asked to
perform an activity that they are ethically opposed to. However this risk is far outweighed by the positive results
achieved under hypnosis and if you consider trying hypnosis, do ensure the practitioner is registered.
Hypnotherapy may work similarly to Biofeedback.
